Country Cove News – June 2017

The St Lucie County Fire District has recently issued a Burn Ban for our entire county until further notice. We are currently experiencing a prolonged period of abnormally low rainfall and drought conditions. Any small fire or spark or cigarette butt tossed out unto the dry ground could start a mass fire.

Fireworks are also banned for the July 4th celebration this year by the county. However, Bar B Que’s are permitted. The County is requesting that you use only propane fuel instead of charcoal, which is safer. Anyone caught disobeying the Burn Ban will be reported to the County Sheriff’s Office who is responsible for policing the laws.

For more information, contact our park office or the St Lucie County Fire District at 772-621-3400, and ask for the Fire Prevention Department.

Thank you for your cooperation!

More improvements are underway at Country Cove Mobile Home Park. We will be resurfacing the asphalt on our streets and fixing problem roadways.

In addition, we are bringing in a number of new mobile homes and demolishing the older homes, therefore, we ask our residents to be courteous to construction workers and their equipment as they carry out their work of making Country Cove a more beautiful place to live – for all of us.

We apologize for any temporary inconvenience the construction work may cause.

New Springtime Improvements

paintbrush-and-bucket_pngLately here at Country Cove Mobile Home Park, we’ve been busy making new improvements for Spring – fixing, painting, putting up new signage, and generally trying to make the park more attractive and enjoyable for all our residents.

Although Spring does not officially begin until March 20th, the temperatures have been much warmer and the flowers are already blooming. The beautiful Spring season comes when nature resumes her loveliness and the human soul revives. It is a great time to adopt a better attitude which will add years to your life, excitement to your step, and a sparkle to your eye.

Got any suggestions? Let me know if you have any park improvement ideas or would like to become a park volunteer.

Life is good at Country Cove Mobile Home Park!

no-poop-zone-signPick up after your dog

According to our Park Rules and Regulations, dog owners are required to walk their dog on a leash. If your dog has an emergency, you are also required to pick up their poop. Remember to carry a disposable plastic bag with you and refrain from allowing your dog to use any of our “No Poop Zone” areas.

Please do not flush objects

We are still having a problem with some individuals who are carelessly flushing wipes, diapers, tampons, and other large objects down their toilets. This clogs our sewage system and a plumbing company has to be paid to fix it. Anyone doing so will be fined up to $250 to pay for repairs.

Country Cove Renovations Almost Complete

New_Mobile_Homes_1Forty years ago, mobile home parks were called trailer camps; 20 years ago they became mobile-home communities. Today, this type of property is finally coming of age and is now generally referred to as manufactured-home land-lease communities.

”Residents will be happy to know that renovations are almost complete at Country Cove,” stated Manager, Hilda Virgen. “As soon as we finish installing the last few trailers and making some final repairs, Country Cove Mobile Home Park will look like a first-class community.”
